Poetry Songs

We have to hum
A tune
Dance like a buffoon
Let love bloom
Howl
At the full moon
We have to
Tap our feet
Don’t hide the Joy
Nor be discreet
Shake our heads
Find our groove
Nod like we approve
Sing like we have lyrics
Hum like the blues
When we have poetry
We have music
Like songs without tunes
Like dancing without shoes
Like words are our muse
Like waking
From a slumber or a snooze
Tap our feet
Drum our beat
Freelance
Off the music sheet
Songs of chance
Songs of dance
Songs of romance
Songs that change
Our stance
We have to hum
A tune
Dance like a buffoon
Let love bloom
